Micro Soccer Spring Program 2010

Our “Micro Soccer” program is an 8-week program that runs the month of March and April. Program is available to children ages 5-7, boys and girls. Sessions will take place on Saturdays and the fee for the program is $75 per player.

Program Objectives:

Expose young players to the game of soccer through fun soccer activities that focus on the player’s technical abilities and skill. Session will run for 45-60 minutes. Sessions will begin with fun exercises where players will learn the basic skill of dribbling and coordination (movement education). Sessions will always end with small-sided games (3v3 or 4v4).

Coaching Staff:

The coaching staff for this program will be led by John Ramos. John is currently the Director of Coaching and Player Development for Plantation Football Club. John holds his national youth license, which is obtained through U.S. Soccer Federation and U.S. Youth Soccer Organization. The national youth license focuses on the social, psychological, and physical characteristics of children ages 5-12. All additional staff for this program holds a FYSA F License or higher.

Soccer apparel (PAL uniform not required), soccer ball, cleats, water

Plantation FC � FYSA Olympic Development Program

We would like to congratulate PFC players who made the final cut for Florida ODP program this year and will be playing in Alabama in the summer representing the state of Florida in a regional tournament. They will play against other state programs throughout the southeast region in their age groups. They will also have the opportunity to get exposure to regional team coaches and possibly be selected for the regional team and perhaps the national team pool for their age group. Congrats!!! Good Luck and keep up the hard work.

PAL Recreational Players Invitation to train with PFC Academy

Invite for recreational players to PFC Academy

Players and Parents,

PFC would like to invite all players, ages 8-12, into our academy program. All recreational players are invited to train with our current PFC academy coaches and players, u9-u12. Training will be available until the middle of May 2010 and will take place 2 times a week. This will give players and parents the opportunity to experience the academy program, the players, coaches, and philosophy.
