Why play soccer?
Soccer (Football/Futbol) is considered the most popular sport world-wide. Soccer teaches so many of life’s lessons, provides a fun and challenging opportunity to work as a team, and everyone on the field is involved 100% of the time. Most athletes who play soccer tend to find it easier to adapt to other sports because soccer helps to develop coordination, fitness, balance, and agility.
What we look for in our U9/U10 players
While soccer skills/experience are preferred, we value hard work, teamwork, determination, and a willingness to learn more.
A little about the program
All of our coaches are professionally trained and nationally licensed. Many have played in college, professionally, and with their national teams. Specialty trainers for goalkeepers, speed and agility, with the addition of a nutritional specialist and a sports psychologist this season, are available for all Eagles players.
Many people are not familiar with the requirements of ’club’ soccer and therefore make an assumption that there is a significant time and travel commitment involved. While there is more of a commitment required than in recreational soccer, at the younger age groups (U9 - U12) the difference is less significant.
Spaces are still available for the the Girls U9 & U10 age groups. If you are interested in finding out more info, please contact Coach Keri.
